They also discuss the "will" of Islam, which is the ability to cause things to appear in a particular direction and is broadly applied to actions of Islamers. The speakers emphasize the importance of healthy behavior, such as giving food to others in spite of love for it, and the importance of patient and rewarding behavior. They also mention the importance of forgiveness and being patient in doing good deeds.

00:00:33 --> 00:00:35
			So, inshallah, my talk is going to be

00:00:35 --> 00:00:36
			about

00:00:36 --> 00:00:38
			the habits of the people of paradise.

00:00:40 --> 00:00:41
			In the Quran, Allah

00:00:42 --> 00:00:45
			tells us about the condition of the people

00:00:45 --> 00:00:46
			of Jannah,

00:00:46 --> 00:00:49
			that how they will be enjoying the food,

00:00:50 --> 00:00:50
			the drinks,

00:00:51 --> 00:00:53
			and, you know, the various types of rewards

00:00:53 --> 00:00:54
			that

00:00:54 --> 00:00:56
			Allah has prepared for them.

00:00:56 --> 00:00:59
			And this is something that Allah mentions in

00:00:59 --> 00:01:01
			great detail in many surahs of the Quran.

00:01:03 --> 00:01:03
			But

00:01:04 --> 00:01:06
			Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala doesn't just tell us

00:01:06 --> 00:01:09
			about the rewards that he has prepared

00:01:09 --> 00:01:10
			for certain people.

00:01:11 --> 00:01:14
			Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala also describes to us

00:01:15 --> 00:01:18
			who these people used to be in the

00:01:18 --> 00:01:18
			world,

00:01:20 --> 00:01:22
			what kind of actions they used to do

00:01:22 --> 00:01:23
			in the world,

00:01:23 --> 00:01:25
			what kind of habits they had,

00:01:26 --> 00:01:28
			what kind of faith they had, what they

00:01:28 --> 00:01:29
			believed in,

00:01:29 --> 00:01:31
			how they used their money,

00:01:31 --> 00:01:33
			how they used their time,

00:01:33 --> 00:01:35
			what they did in the day, what they

00:01:35 --> 00:01:36
			did in the night.

00:01:36 --> 00:01:37
			Allah

00:01:38 --> 00:01:38
			mentions,

00:01:39 --> 00:01:41
			he describes the state of their heart when

00:01:41 --> 00:01:43
			when they're doing good.

00:01:43 --> 00:01:46
			So inshallah, in the next little while that

00:01:46 --> 00:01:48
			I have with you, I want to talk

00:01:48 --> 00:01:50
			about one such passage in the Quran

00:01:51 --> 00:01:54
			where Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala describes to us

00:01:54 --> 00:01:55
			the people of

00:01:56 --> 00:01:56
			paradise.

00:01:57 --> 00:01:59
			And this passage is from Suratul Insan.

00:02:00 --> 00:02:02
			And the reason why I chose this Surah

00:02:02 --> 00:02:03
			is because

00:02:03 --> 00:02:04
			of two reasons, actually.

00:02:05 --> 00:02:07
			One is that the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa

00:02:07 --> 00:02:10
			sallam used to recite this surah in fajr

00:02:10 --> 00:02:10
			prayer

00:02:11 --> 00:02:12
			every Friday.

00:02:13 --> 00:02:15
			And this shows us how necessary it is

00:02:15 --> 00:02:17
			for us to take the message,

00:02:18 --> 00:02:21
			the the hope that the Surah gives us.

00:02:22 --> 00:02:25
			The second reason is that in the Surah,

00:02:25 --> 00:02:27
			Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala describes the people of

00:02:27 --> 00:02:28
			paradise

00:02:29 --> 00:02:31
			and also the rewards that the people of

00:02:31 --> 00:02:32
			paradise will enjoy.

00:02:33 --> 00:02:34
			And in the Surah,

00:02:35 --> 00:02:35
			jahannam,

00:02:36 --> 00:02:36
			hellfire,

00:02:37 --> 00:02:39
			and its punishment is mentioned

00:02:40 --> 00:02:41
			only once.

00:02:42 --> 00:02:43
			Only once.

00:02:43 --> 00:02:45
			The entire surah

00:02:46 --> 00:02:48
			is about the reward

00:02:48 --> 00:02:51
			of paradise and the people of paradise.

00:02:52 --> 00:02:54
			So in the Surah, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala

00:02:54 --> 00:02:56
			tells us in verse number 5,

00:03:04 --> 00:03:06
			Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala tells us about who

00:03:06 --> 00:03:07
			the people of paradise

00:03:08 --> 00:03:11
			are. He tells us that they are abrar,

00:03:12 --> 00:03:14
			that they are his righteous

00:03:14 --> 00:03:14
			slaves.

00:03:16 --> 00:03:18
			Now the people of paradise could be could

00:03:18 --> 00:03:21
			be, you know, praised in many different ways.

00:03:21 --> 00:03:23
			They could be described as believers.

00:03:24 --> 00:03:26
			Right? They could be described as the people

00:03:26 --> 00:03:27
			of,

00:03:27 --> 00:03:29
			the people who are conscious of Allah,

00:03:30 --> 00:03:32
			the people who are afraid of Allah. I

00:03:32 --> 00:03:33
			mean, there's so many different ways that the

00:03:33 --> 00:03:36
			people of paradise can be described. And they're

00:03:36 --> 00:03:36
			actually

00:03:37 --> 00:03:39
			these descriptions, we find them in the Quran.

00:03:39 --> 00:03:40
			Right? But here,

00:03:41 --> 00:03:43
			Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala calls them

00:03:44 --> 00:03:45
			That the righteous,

00:03:46 --> 00:03:49
			the slaves of Allah, will drink from a

00:03:49 --> 00:03:51
			cup of wine whose mixture is of kafoor.

00:03:52 --> 00:03:54
			Now the read of my talk about why

00:03:54 --> 00:03:56
			the people of paradise are called Abra.

00:03:57 --> 00:03:58
			And the reason is

00:03:59 --> 00:04:00
			that abrar

00:04:00 --> 00:04:02
			are people who are dutiful,

00:04:03 --> 00:04:06
			people who do bir, people who who who

00:04:06 --> 00:04:08
			who do righteous actions.

00:04:08 --> 00:04:11
			So the reason why they're called the dutiful

00:04:12 --> 00:04:13
			slaves of Allah

00:04:13 --> 00:04:13
			is

00:04:14 --> 00:04:17
			because they are dutiful. They are obedient

00:04:17 --> 00:04:18
			to Allah.

00:04:19 --> 00:04:22
			This is how they lived their lives.

00:04:23 --> 00:04:24
			A life of devotion,

00:04:25 --> 00:04:26
			of dutifulness,

00:04:26 --> 00:04:27
			of faithfulness,

00:04:28 --> 00:04:29
			of commitment

00:04:30 --> 00:04:30
			to Allah

00:04:32 --> 00:04:34
			Another reason is

00:04:34 --> 00:04:35
			because abraar

00:04:36 --> 00:04:37
			are people who are

00:04:37 --> 00:04:40
			beautiful to others, as in they are good

00:04:40 --> 00:04:41
			to others.

00:04:41 --> 00:04:43
			So they are those who are good to

00:04:43 --> 00:04:46
			their parents and also to their children. You

00:04:46 --> 00:04:48
			may have heard of the term,

00:04:49 --> 00:04:51
			right? Being good to your parents.

00:04:52 --> 00:04:53
			So are who?

00:04:54 --> 00:04:56
			Those who are good to their parents and

00:04:56 --> 00:04:58
			also to their children, meaning those who are

00:04:58 --> 00:04:59
			closest to them.

00:04:59 --> 00:05:02
			And the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam told

00:05:02 --> 00:05:02
			us

00:05:04 --> 00:05:06
			that righteousness is.

00:05:08 --> 00:05:09
			It is good character.

00:05:10 --> 00:05:12
			Sometimes we think that righteousness is just about,

00:05:12 --> 00:05:14
			you know, praying a lot of salah,

00:05:15 --> 00:05:17
			or it is making a lot of or

00:05:17 --> 00:05:19
			it is, you know, memorizing the Quran and

00:05:19 --> 00:05:22
			reciting the Quran. And all of that is

00:05:22 --> 00:05:23
			part of righteousness.

00:05:24 --> 00:05:27
			But righteousness is not limited to,

00:05:27 --> 00:05:30
			you know, rituals or acts of worship.

00:05:31 --> 00:05:31
			Righteousness

00:05:32 --> 00:05:33
			also includes

00:05:34 --> 00:05:35
			your character,

00:05:36 --> 00:05:38
			your care for other people. The way that

00:05:38 --> 00:05:40
			you treat them, the way that you speak

00:05:40 --> 00:05:43
			to them, the way that you interact with

00:05:43 --> 00:05:43
			them,

00:05:44 --> 00:05:47
			especially those who are closest to

00:05:47 --> 00:05:48
			you. We learn in a hadith that when

00:05:48 --> 00:05:51
			the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam was asked

00:05:51 --> 00:05:52
			that which deeds

00:05:53 --> 00:05:54
			certainly lead to paradise,

00:05:55 --> 00:05:56
			he replied,

00:06:01 --> 00:06:03
			You must be good in your speech,

00:06:04 --> 00:06:05
			and you must

00:06:05 --> 00:06:08
			generously give food to others. Meaning, if you

00:06:08 --> 00:06:11
			wanna make it to paradise, then you better

00:06:12 --> 00:06:14
			correct, you better improve the way that you

00:06:14 --> 00:06:15
			speak to other people.

00:06:16 --> 00:06:17
			Now the thing is it's very easy to

00:06:17 --> 00:06:19
			speak nicely to strangers.

00:06:19 --> 00:06:21
			Please, thank you. I'm so sorry. You didn't

00:06:21 --> 00:06:23
			have to do that. Right? We know how

00:06:23 --> 00:06:24
			how to be polite and courteous

00:06:25 --> 00:06:26
			to strangers,

00:06:27 --> 00:06:28
			right, or to people who are distant from

00:06:28 --> 00:06:29
			us.

00:06:29 --> 00:06:31
			But who is it

00:06:31 --> 00:06:33
			that receives our real version?

00:06:34 --> 00:06:36
			Who is it? It is our parents.

00:06:37 --> 00:06:38
			Right? And when you become a parent, it

00:06:38 --> 00:06:39
			is your children.

00:06:40 --> 00:06:43
			Not all parents are nice and compassionate and

00:06:43 --> 00:06:46
			kind and, you know, respectful towards their towards

00:06:46 --> 00:06:47
			their children.

00:06:48 --> 00:06:48
			So

00:06:50 --> 00:06:52
			is what? It is bid. It is righteousness.

00:06:53 --> 00:06:53
			So

00:06:54 --> 00:06:55
			are who?

00:06:55 --> 00:06:58
			Those who are good to their parents, who

00:06:58 --> 00:06:59
			are good to their children.

00:07:00 --> 00:07:02
			And this is how and this is the

00:07:02 --> 00:07:03
			explanation that Abdullah ibn Ummah

00:07:04 --> 00:07:05
			gave.

00:07:06 --> 00:07:08
			Another reason why the people of paradise are

00:07:08 --> 00:07:09
			called Abra

00:07:09 --> 00:07:10
			is because

00:07:10 --> 00:07:11
			they would remove

00:07:12 --> 00:07:13
			harm from others.

00:07:14 --> 00:07:16
			And this is what Al Hasan al Basri

00:07:16 --> 00:07:16
			explained.

00:07:17 --> 00:07:19
			Because bir, kindness,

00:07:19 --> 00:07:22
			is not just about, you know, doing good

00:07:22 --> 00:07:23
			when you go for umrah.

00:07:24 --> 00:07:27
			Kindness is that if you see that someone

00:07:27 --> 00:07:29
			is struggling with something and you can easily

00:07:29 --> 00:07:32
			alleviate their suffering, you go ahead and do

00:07:32 --> 00:07:32
			that.

00:07:32 --> 00:07:34
			You don't have to wait for a giant

00:07:35 --> 00:07:37
			opportunity to be able to give $50,000

00:07:37 --> 00:07:39
			in charity. No.

00:07:39 --> 00:07:41
			Bid can also mean

00:07:41 --> 00:07:44
			that you remove something that is annoying, that

00:07:44 --> 00:07:46
			could possib that that could possibly, you know,

00:07:46 --> 00:07:49
			be harmful for for people. You move that

00:07:49 --> 00:07:50
			from their way.

00:07:50 --> 00:07:53
			And the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam mentioned

00:07:53 --> 00:07:56
			that he saw a man in Jannah.

00:07:57 --> 00:07:59
			The prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said that

00:07:59 --> 00:08:00
			he saw a man

00:08:00 --> 00:08:01
			roaming around in paradise.

00:08:02 --> 00:08:05
			Why was this man admitted into paradise?

00:08:06 --> 00:08:07
			Because he saw

00:08:08 --> 00:08:09
			a tree

00:08:09 --> 00:08:11
			that was in the way of people.

00:08:12 --> 00:08:14
			You know, sometimes it happens that that that

00:08:14 --> 00:08:16
			a tree grows in a particular direction.

00:08:17 --> 00:08:19
			And so the way that it was growing,

00:08:19 --> 00:08:21
			the way that its branches were,

00:08:21 --> 00:08:24
			it was a cause of inconvenience to people.

00:08:24 --> 00:08:26
			Like people had to, you know, put their

00:08:26 --> 00:08:28
			things down, you know, walk across carefully.

00:08:29 --> 00:08:31
			Their clothes would get tangled into it. So

00:08:31 --> 00:08:33
			what did this man do? He said, oh,

00:08:33 --> 00:08:35
			this is bothering people. Let me remove it

00:08:35 --> 00:08:36
			from their way.

00:08:37 --> 00:08:39
			And he he cut that tree.

00:08:39 --> 00:08:41
			He removed it from the way of the

00:08:41 --> 00:08:43
			people so that it it wouldn't harm people.

00:08:44 --> 00:08:45
			And Allah

00:08:46 --> 00:08:48
			submitted this person into

00:08:48 --> 00:08:50
			paradise because of this.

00:08:51 --> 00:08:51
			So

00:08:53 --> 00:08:54
			are who? Generally, when we think about the

00:08:54 --> 00:08:56
			people of paradise, we think, oh, there are

00:08:56 --> 00:08:57
			those who pray the Hajj with every single

00:08:57 --> 00:08:59
			night. Right? Or there are those who have

00:08:59 --> 00:09:01
			memorized the whole Quran. Or there are those

00:09:01 --> 00:09:03
			who are fasting all the time. Or there

00:09:03 --> 00:09:05
			are those who are going for umrah for

00:09:05 --> 00:09:06
			Hajj all of the time.

00:09:07 --> 00:09:09
			From this, we learned that abroad, the people

00:09:09 --> 00:09:11
			of paradise, the righteous are who?

00:09:12 --> 00:09:14
			Those who seize any opportunity

00:09:15 --> 00:09:17
			to bring benefit to others, whether it means

00:09:17 --> 00:09:19
			speaking to them in a good way

00:09:19 --> 00:09:22
			or it means removing something harmful

00:09:22 --> 00:09:23
			from them.

00:09:24 --> 00:09:24
			So

00:09:25 --> 00:09:28
			Allah describes the abra, about how they will

00:09:28 --> 00:09:28
			drink

00:09:29 --> 00:09:31
			from the springs of paradise, and how that,

00:09:32 --> 00:09:33
			you know, how how how those drinks will

00:09:33 --> 00:09:36
			be, their fragrance, their aroma, their flavor.

00:09:38 --> 00:09:39
			And Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala mentions

00:09:42 --> 00:09:45
			that These drinks, alright, the spring

00:09:45 --> 00:09:47
			that they will drink from, the people of

00:09:47 --> 00:09:49
			paradise will be able to cause it to

00:09:49 --> 00:09:50
			gush forth

00:09:51 --> 00:09:51
			in abundance,

00:09:52 --> 00:09:53
			meaning wherever

00:09:54 --> 00:09:56
			they will want that drink, they will they

00:09:56 --> 00:09:58
			will be able to access it.

00:09:58 --> 00:10:00
			They will be able to cause it to

00:10:00 --> 00:10:03
			gush forth in whatever amount, in whatever direction,

00:10:04 --> 00:10:06
			and whenever, wherever that they desire.

00:10:07 --> 00:10:09
			What's the connection over here?

00:10:10 --> 00:10:12
			Are people who are bringing benefit to others.

00:10:13 --> 00:10:14
			So

00:10:16 --> 00:10:17
			right? He will

00:10:17 --> 00:10:20
			give them so much joy and satisfaction

00:10:20 --> 00:10:21
			in paradise.

00:10:22 --> 00:10:25
			In the world, the abroad used to give

00:10:25 --> 00:10:26
			to others.

00:10:26 --> 00:10:28
			So in Jannah, the abroad

00:10:29 --> 00:10:29
			will

00:10:30 --> 00:10:30
			be receiving

00:10:31 --> 00:10:33
			the the gifts, the favors from Allah Subhanahu

00:10:33 --> 00:10:34
			Wa Ta'ala.

00:10:35 --> 00:10:37
			Furthermore, Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says that they

00:10:37 --> 00:10:38
			are people

00:10:45 --> 00:10:47
			who There are those who fulfill their vows.

00:10:51 --> 00:10:51
			And what is?

00:10:52 --> 00:10:55
			Is interpreted as whatever Allah

00:10:55 --> 00:10:57
			has obligated on them.

00:10:57 --> 00:11:01
			So whatever Allah obligated on them, in terms

00:11:01 --> 00:11:02
			of, you know, what the are,

00:11:03 --> 00:11:04
			they fulfill those.

00:11:05 --> 00:11:07
			And nadir also means

00:11:07 --> 00:11:10
			a commitment or an ab or a vow,

00:11:11 --> 00:11:13
			alright, that you make.

00:11:13 --> 00:11:16
			That that something that is not mandatory on

00:11:16 --> 00:11:18
			you, but you voluntarily

00:11:19 --> 00:11:20
			commit to do it.

00:11:21 --> 00:11:21
			Alright?

00:11:21 --> 00:11:22
			So

00:11:24 --> 00:11:26
			meaning when they make good promises,

00:11:27 --> 00:11:30
			when they make good commitments, meaning commitments to

00:11:30 --> 00:11:32
			do something good, what do they do? They

00:11:32 --> 00:11:33
			fulfill those commitments.

00:11:33 --> 00:11:35
			Whether it is that they make these commitments

00:11:35 --> 00:11:36
			with Allah

00:11:37 --> 00:11:39
			or they make these commitments with people.

00:11:39 --> 00:11:42
			Like, for example, the volunteers that we just

00:11:42 --> 00:11:43
			saw being appreciated.

00:11:44 --> 00:11:46
			Right? Volunteering means what?

00:11:46 --> 00:11:48
			This is not a job.

00:11:48 --> 00:11:48
			Right?

00:11:49 --> 00:11:53
			Volunteering means there's no there isn't necessarily a

00:11:53 --> 00:11:53
			contract.

00:11:54 --> 00:11:56
			Right? It's just out of your goodwill

00:11:57 --> 00:11:59
			and your faithfulness to Allah

00:12:00 --> 00:12:02
			because of which you come forward, you bring

00:12:02 --> 00:12:04
			your time, your services,

00:12:04 --> 00:12:07
			your work, your effort. Why? For the sake

00:12:07 --> 00:12:08
			of Allah

00:12:10 --> 00:12:12
			So those who fulfill their commitments,

00:12:13 --> 00:12:15
			their reward is paradise.

00:12:21 --> 00:12:24
			And they fear a day whose evil will

00:12:24 --> 00:12:25
			be wide

00:12:26 --> 00:12:27
			spread. Subhanallah.

00:12:28 --> 00:12:29
			They are people who fulfill

00:12:30 --> 00:12:32
			their duty to Allah, their commitments with peep

00:12:32 --> 00:12:33
			with others,

00:12:34 --> 00:12:37
			yet they are afraid of Allah.

00:12:37 --> 00:12:40
			They are afraid of the day of judgment.

00:12:41 --> 00:12:43
			What happens with many people is that

00:12:43 --> 00:12:46
			they get very comfortable because of the good

00:12:46 --> 00:12:48
			deeds they have done in the past.

00:12:49 --> 00:12:50
			Like, for example, a person thinks that, yeah,

00:12:50 --> 00:12:53
			I recited the whole Quran with my Quran

00:12:53 --> 00:12:55
			teacher when I was 15 years old,

00:12:55 --> 00:12:58
			and I am done with my recitation of

00:12:58 --> 00:12:58
			the Quran.

00:12:59 --> 00:12:59
			Now

00:13:00 --> 00:13:02
			I'm, you know, more focused on other things.

00:13:02 --> 00:13:04
			So they think that they no longer have

00:13:04 --> 00:13:06
			to recite the Quran, because they have done

00:13:06 --> 00:13:07
			that in their life

00:13:08 --> 00:13:10
			already. Some people think that, you know, just

00:13:10 --> 00:13:12
			because they have gone for umrah, they have

00:13:12 --> 00:13:14
			gone for Hajj. They gave sadaqa in Ramadan.

00:13:15 --> 00:13:17
			Now they are done with that good deed.

00:13:18 --> 00:13:20
			And when we look at good deeds like

00:13:20 --> 00:13:22
			this, that, okay, I'm done my part.

00:13:23 --> 00:13:24
			I no longer have to do it, I'm

00:13:24 --> 00:13:27
			I'm satisfied with what I have done,

00:13:27 --> 00:13:29
			then this is where growth stops.

00:13:31 --> 00:13:33
			But when a person is afraid of the

00:13:33 --> 00:13:34
			day of judgment,

00:13:34 --> 00:13:36
			when a person has fear of Allah in

00:13:36 --> 00:13:37
			their heart,

00:13:37 --> 00:13:40
			when they think about standing before Allah,

00:13:41 --> 00:13:43
			they think about the sins that they have

00:13:43 --> 00:13:45
			committed and are and are committing,

00:13:46 --> 00:13:48
			then what happens? There's that this fear

00:13:49 --> 00:13:53
			drives them to keep increasing in good deeds.

00:13:53 --> 00:13:54
			Allah

00:13:54 --> 00:13:55
			tells us in

00:13:57 --> 00:13:57
			about

00:14:05 --> 00:14:07
			That those who do what they're doing of

00:14:07 --> 00:14:08
			good deeds,

00:14:09 --> 00:14:11
			but while they're doing them, their hearts are

00:14:11 --> 00:14:13
			trembling with the fear of Allah.

00:14:14 --> 00:14:16
			Why are they trembling with the fear of

00:14:16 --> 00:14:19
			Allah? Because they know that one day they

00:14:19 --> 00:14:21
			are going to stand before Allah.

00:14:22 --> 00:14:26
			And that standing before Allah frightens them. That

00:14:26 --> 00:14:28
			if Allah were to ask me about my

00:14:28 --> 00:14:30
			sins, what could I say? How how could

00:14:30 --> 00:14:31
			I defend myself?

00:14:32 --> 00:14:33
			How could I justify

00:14:33 --> 00:14:34
			any of these deeds?

00:14:35 --> 00:14:37
			So Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala tells us about

00:14:37 --> 00:14:38
			such people

00:14:42 --> 00:14:44
			that These are the people

00:14:44 --> 00:14:46
			who excel in good deeds,

00:14:47 --> 00:14:49
			who rush in good deeds.

00:14:52 --> 00:14:53
			So the people of paradise

00:14:54 --> 00:14:56
			are those who are not settled

00:14:56 --> 00:14:58
			with what they have already done.

00:14:59 --> 00:15:01
			Abra, the righteous, are not

00:15:02 --> 00:15:04
			satisfied with whatever that they accomplished 5 years

00:15:04 --> 00:15:06
			ago or 10 years ago.

00:15:06 --> 00:15:08
			They're eager to do more.

00:15:09 --> 00:15:11
			So what do they do? Allah

00:15:12 --> 00:15:13
			tells us about another

00:15:13 --> 00:15:14
			habit of theirs.

00:15:23 --> 00:15:25
			That they give food to others

00:15:26 --> 00:15:28
			in spite of love for it.

00:15:29 --> 00:15:30
			And who is it that they give food

00:15:30 --> 00:15:34
			to? Meskeen, the one in need. Yateem, the

00:15:34 --> 00:15:35
			orphan child.

00:15:35 --> 00:15:37
			Asid, the prisoner.

00:15:38 --> 00:15:39
			They give food.

00:15:40 --> 00:15:41
			Now

00:15:41 --> 00:15:45
			giving food, yes, this is something amazing. But

00:15:45 --> 00:15:45
			Allah

00:15:46 --> 00:15:48
			mentions another detail over here.

00:15:51 --> 00:15:53
			And this means 2 things.

00:15:54 --> 00:15:56
			It means that they give food

00:15:57 --> 00:15:59
			because of his love.

00:15:59 --> 00:16:02
			Meaning out of love for Allah.

00:16:02 --> 00:16:04
			So on the one hand, they are afraid

00:16:04 --> 00:16:04
			of Allah.

00:16:06 --> 00:16:08
			But on the other hand, they they also

00:16:08 --> 00:16:09
			love Allah.

00:16:10 --> 00:16:12
			And out of that love that they have

00:16:12 --> 00:16:13
			for Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,

00:16:13 --> 00:16:15
			they give food to others.

00:16:16 --> 00:16:17
			They they spend on others.

00:16:19 --> 00:16:21
			Because the one whom you love,

00:16:21 --> 00:16:23
			you want to please them.

00:16:24 --> 00:16:26
			Right? You you want to draw close to

00:16:26 --> 00:16:27
			them.

00:16:27 --> 00:16:28
			So the abra,

00:16:29 --> 00:16:32
			what is their concern? They wanna draw closer

00:16:32 --> 00:16:32
			to Allah

00:16:34 --> 00:16:36
			So they're always eager to find out, what

00:16:36 --> 00:16:38
			can I do that will draw me close

00:16:38 --> 00:16:41
			to Allah? What can I do that will

00:16:41 --> 00:16:41
			bring me

00:16:42 --> 00:16:43
			Allah's approval?

00:16:43 --> 00:16:47
			And of those deeds is what? It is

00:16:47 --> 00:16:49
			to give food to other people.

00:16:50 --> 00:16:51
			And giving food is something that you can

00:16:51 --> 00:16:54
			do at any time, anywhere. As long as

00:16:54 --> 00:16:57
			there's people around you, you can do that.

00:16:57 --> 00:16:59
			You don't have to be in a poor

00:16:59 --> 00:16:59
			country.

00:17:00 --> 00:17:01
			Alright? You don't have to be in a

00:17:01 --> 00:17:03
			place where everyone is hungry or everyone is

00:17:03 --> 00:17:04
			fasting.

00:17:04 --> 00:17:05
			No.

00:17:05 --> 00:17:08
			Giving food to others, it could even be

00:17:08 --> 00:17:10
			your own family. It could even be your

00:17:10 --> 00:17:10
			own children.

00:17:11 --> 00:17:12
			It could be your neighbors.

00:17:12 --> 00:17:13
			It could be anybody.

00:17:14 --> 00:17:17
			Giving food to others is something that is

00:17:17 --> 00:17:17
			rewardable.

00:17:18 --> 00:17:18
			So

00:17:21 --> 00:17:23
			they give it out of love for Allah.

00:17:26 --> 00:17:29
			Another interpretation of this is that they give

00:17:29 --> 00:17:30
			food to others

00:17:30 --> 00:17:32
			in spite of their love

00:17:32 --> 00:17:34
			for that food.

00:17:35 --> 00:17:36
			And this is some and this is where

00:17:36 --> 00:17:38
			it becomes very relevant to us.

00:17:39 --> 00:17:40
			Think about it.

00:17:41 --> 00:17:41
			You go,

00:17:42 --> 00:17:44
			you know, you go get that piece of

00:17:44 --> 00:17:46
			cheesecake that you've been craving all week.

00:17:46 --> 00:17:47
			Alright?

00:17:47 --> 00:17:49
			And you go get it, and you bring

00:17:49 --> 00:17:50
			it home, and you're like, I'm just gonna

00:17:50 --> 00:17:53
			sit down, relax, and enjoy it. Actually, forget

00:17:53 --> 00:17:57
			about cheesecake. Ice cream. Ice cream. Alright? Dairy

00:17:57 --> 00:17:59
			Queen. Okay. Let's say you get that ice

00:17:59 --> 00:18:01
			cream, and you say, I'm just gonna sit

00:18:01 --> 00:18:03
			down, and I'm gonna enjoy it. And what

00:18:03 --> 00:18:03
			happens?

00:18:04 --> 00:18:07
			Your sister, your brother, your spouse, your child,

00:18:07 --> 00:18:09
			somebody or the other comes,

00:18:09 --> 00:18:11
			alright, and they're just staring at you.

00:18:13 --> 00:18:14
			They're looking at you.

00:18:15 --> 00:18:18
			You have been craving this ice cream for

00:18:18 --> 00:18:21
			an entire week. You're rewarding yourself over here.

00:18:21 --> 00:18:24
			Right? And you want to enjoy it, especially

00:18:24 --> 00:18:25
			the last little bit where all the fudge

00:18:25 --> 00:18:26
			is.

00:18:26 --> 00:18:27
			Right?

00:18:27 --> 00:18:29
			That's what you've been waiting for.

00:18:29 --> 00:18:31
			And what happens, you're they're looking at you,

00:18:31 --> 00:18:34
			so you're like, wanna bite? Wanna have some?

00:18:34 --> 00:18:35
			And they're like, yeah. Sure. And they take

00:18:35 --> 00:18:36
			it.

00:18:36 --> 00:18:39
			And before you know it, they finish it.

00:18:40 --> 00:18:40
			This is

00:18:44 --> 00:18:47
			giving food to others in spite of love

00:18:47 --> 00:18:50
			for it. That even though you want it

00:18:50 --> 00:18:50
			yourself,

00:18:51 --> 00:18:52
			but you give it to others.

00:18:53 --> 00:18:56
			You you have shahua. You have that desire

00:18:56 --> 00:18:58
			for it, but you give it to someone

00:18:58 --> 00:18:58
			else.

00:19:00 --> 00:19:02
			Or some say that what this means is,

00:19:02 --> 00:19:03
			in spite of its shortage.

00:19:04 --> 00:19:06
			Because when food is not enough,

00:19:07 --> 00:19:10
			right, when you're hungry and others are also

00:19:10 --> 00:19:10
			hungry,

00:19:11 --> 00:19:13
			at that time, what do you do? Do

00:19:13 --> 00:19:14
			you just care about yourself, or do you

00:19:14 --> 00:19:16
			also care about those in need?

00:19:17 --> 00:19:18
			So the people of paradise

00:19:19 --> 00:19:19
			abroad,

00:19:20 --> 00:19:23
			what is their habit? That they give to

00:19:23 --> 00:19:23
			others.

00:19:27 --> 00:19:29
			And especially, they give it to who?

00:19:30 --> 00:19:30
			The

00:19:32 --> 00:19:33
			one in need.

00:19:33 --> 00:19:35
			The person who is not able to fulfill

00:19:35 --> 00:19:36
			all of their needs.

00:19:37 --> 00:19:38
			Yateem, the child

00:19:39 --> 00:19:41
			who doesn't have a father to provide for

00:19:41 --> 00:19:44
			him or her. And Asid, a prisoner who's

00:19:44 --> 00:19:46
			not able to go out and get food

00:19:46 --> 00:19:47
			themselves.

00:19:48 --> 00:19:50
			And food is one of the most basic

00:19:50 --> 00:19:51
			human necessities. Right?

00:19:52 --> 00:19:52
			SubhanAllah.

00:19:53 --> 00:19:56
			And so we see that where giving food

00:19:56 --> 00:19:58
			to others is such a huge virtue,

00:19:59 --> 00:19:59
			preventing

00:20:00 --> 00:20:02
			food from others is a is a huge

00:20:03 --> 00:20:03
			crime.

00:20:04 --> 00:20:06
			We learn about the people of *.

00:20:07 --> 00:20:09
			The people of Jahannam, they will be asked

00:20:09 --> 00:20:11
			that how is it that you ended up

00:20:11 --> 00:20:12
			in Jahannam?

00:20:13 --> 00:20:13
			How?

00:20:14 --> 00:20:15
			And they will say,

00:20:15 --> 00:20:17
			among their crimes was what?

00:20:21 --> 00:20:23
			We would not feed

00:20:23 --> 00:20:24
			those in need.

00:20:26 --> 00:20:28
			Even though we had the capacity, we had

00:20:28 --> 00:20:31
			the ability, but we did not give food

00:20:31 --> 00:20:31
			to others.

00:20:32 --> 00:20:35
			So giving food to others is is one

00:20:35 --> 00:20:37
			of the qualities of of the people of

00:20:37 --> 00:20:38
			paradise.

00:20:38 --> 00:20:40
			And we see that it is actually one

00:20:40 --> 00:20:41
			of the best deeds near Allah. When the

00:20:41 --> 00:20:44
			prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam was asked

00:20:44 --> 00:20:45
			that,

00:20:46 --> 00:20:48
			which deeds are the best? He mentioned several

00:20:48 --> 00:20:49
			good deeds.

00:20:49 --> 00:20:52
			And among them he said that you satisfy

00:20:53 --> 00:20:54
			the hunger of a Muslim.

00:20:55 --> 00:20:58
			That he's hungry, she's hungry, and you feed

00:20:58 --> 00:21:00
			them to their fill.

00:21:00 --> 00:21:02
			In another hadith, we learned

00:21:02 --> 00:21:05
			about the the homes that Allah Subhanahu Wa

00:21:05 --> 00:21:07
			Ta'ala has prepared for the people of paradise.

00:21:08 --> 00:21:10
			And when the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam described

00:21:10 --> 00:21:11
			their beauty,

00:21:12 --> 00:21:13
			a man asked that who are they for?

00:21:14 --> 00:21:16
			And the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam mentioned,

00:21:17 --> 00:21:19
			these houses are for people who are good

00:21:19 --> 00:21:20
			in their speech,

00:21:21 --> 00:21:23
			who give food to others, who pray in

00:21:23 --> 00:21:25
			the night when people are sleeping.

00:21:26 --> 00:21:28
			So giving food to others, it is something

00:21:28 --> 00:21:31
			that leads people to paradise. The prophet sallallahu

00:21:31 --> 00:21:32
			alaihi wasallam also said

00:21:35 --> 00:21:36
			that, The best of you are those who

00:21:36 --> 00:21:37
			give food to others.

00:21:38 --> 00:21:40
			And giving food to others, this is not

00:21:40 --> 00:21:41
			restricted to Muslims.

00:21:42 --> 00:21:45
			This is not even restricted to human beings,

00:21:45 --> 00:21:45
			in fact.

00:21:46 --> 00:21:48
			In a hadith, we learned about how a

00:21:48 --> 00:21:49
			man came to prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam and

00:21:49 --> 00:21:51
			mentioned that when he, you know, when he,

00:21:52 --> 00:21:53
			collects water for his camels,

00:21:54 --> 00:21:56
			and his camels are about to drink the

00:21:56 --> 00:21:57
			water,

00:21:57 --> 00:21:59
			there are some other camels belonging to other

00:21:59 --> 00:22:01
			people who also come and and drink from

00:22:01 --> 00:22:02
			there.

00:22:03 --> 00:22:04
			So the man said that I just let

00:22:04 --> 00:22:07
			those thirsty camels drink from that water, but

00:22:07 --> 00:22:09
			do I get any reward? And the prophet

00:22:10 --> 00:22:11
			said that, yes.

00:22:14 --> 00:22:15
			There is reward

00:22:16 --> 00:22:18
			for feeding every living creature.

00:22:19 --> 00:22:21
			So the people of paradise

00:22:21 --> 00:22:23
			are those who give food to others.

00:22:24 --> 00:22:26
			And when they give food,

00:22:26 --> 00:22:29
			they say something in their hearts. What is

00:22:29 --> 00:22:30
			it that they say? They say,

00:22:34 --> 00:22:36
			We only feed you for the sake of

00:22:36 --> 00:22:36
			Allah.

00:22:40 --> 00:22:42
			We do not want from you any kind

00:22:42 --> 00:22:43
			of compensation

00:22:44 --> 00:22:45
			nor any kind of gratitude.

00:22:47 --> 00:22:49
			We feed you. Why? For the sake of

00:22:49 --> 00:22:51
			Allah. Meaning, we want the reward for this

00:22:51 --> 00:22:53
			from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.

00:22:54 --> 00:22:55
			From you,

00:22:55 --> 00:22:57
			we don't want 2 things.

00:22:57 --> 00:22:58
			What are these 2 things?

00:22:59 --> 00:23:02
			Some kind of reward that you that you

00:23:02 --> 00:23:03
			reciprocate the favor.

00:23:03 --> 00:23:05
			Today I feed you, tomorrow you feed me.

00:23:05 --> 00:23:08
			And sometimes this happens, especially in Ramadan, that

00:23:08 --> 00:23:09
			when you give food to your you know,

00:23:09 --> 00:23:11
			when you share some food with your neighbors,

00:23:11 --> 00:23:14
			your Muslim neighbors, you take some for them,

00:23:14 --> 00:23:16
			and you expect that, you know, tomorrow maybe

00:23:16 --> 00:23:17
			they'll they'll send me pakoras.

00:23:18 --> 00:23:19
			Right? Or some other kind of snack that,

00:23:19 --> 00:23:21
			you know, the auntie is very good at

00:23:21 --> 00:23:22
			preparing. No.

00:23:23 --> 00:23:25
			When you give something for the sake of

00:23:25 --> 00:23:28
			Allah, you don't expect a payment from people.

00:23:29 --> 00:23:32
			You don't expect that they will reciprocate the

00:23:32 --> 00:23:35
			favor somehow, that they will now do something

00:23:35 --> 00:23:36
			in return.

00:23:37 --> 00:23:39
			Sometimes we expect jazaa in some other kind

00:23:39 --> 00:23:40
			of way.

00:23:41 --> 00:23:42
			Like, for example,

00:23:42 --> 00:23:44
			you share food with with your neighbor, and

00:23:44 --> 00:23:45
			now you expect

00:23:46 --> 00:23:46
			that,

00:23:47 --> 00:23:48
			you know, on on garbage day when when

00:23:48 --> 00:23:50
			the when the when the garbage is collected,

00:23:50 --> 00:23:54
			your neighbors should put your garbage bin, you

00:23:54 --> 00:23:56
			know, back back at your garage door or

00:23:56 --> 00:23:56
			something.

00:23:57 --> 00:23:59
			Because I'm always doing so much for them,

00:23:59 --> 00:24:02
			they should also do something for me. No.

00:24:03 --> 00:24:04
			You don't

00:24:05 --> 00:24:06
			expect any reciprocation

00:24:06 --> 00:24:07
			from people

00:24:08 --> 00:24:09
			when you do when when you do them

00:24:09 --> 00:24:10
			a favor.

00:24:11 --> 00:24:13
			All of your reward, you expect from who?

00:24:13 --> 00:24:15
			From Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.

00:24:16 --> 00:24:17
			So

00:24:18 --> 00:24:20
			and you don't even expect any shukur from

00:24:20 --> 00:24:23
			from them. Meaning, any verbal gratitude that they

00:24:23 --> 00:24:25
			come and thank you,

00:24:25 --> 00:24:26
			they, you know, call you and they thank

00:24:26 --> 00:24:28
			you and they praise the food that you

00:24:28 --> 00:24:29
			prepared.

00:24:29 --> 00:24:29
			No.

00:24:33 --> 00:24:35
			If it happens without your intention, that is

00:24:35 --> 00:24:36
			different.

00:24:37 --> 00:24:39
			Right? That you send food in your Tupperware,

00:24:39 --> 00:24:41
			and when they return the Tupperware, they fill

00:24:41 --> 00:24:43
			it with food. Did you demand that? No,

00:24:43 --> 00:24:44
			you didn't.

00:24:45 --> 00:24:47
			Did you expect that? No, you didn't.

00:24:47 --> 00:24:49
			Or you give food and they call you

00:24:49 --> 00:24:52
			and they thank you. Did you expect that?

00:24:52 --> 00:24:55
			No, you didn't. But if that happens, alhamdulillah.

00:24:56 --> 00:24:57
			However,

00:24:57 --> 00:24:58
			we should never

00:24:59 --> 00:25:01
			expect from people that they should pay us,

00:25:01 --> 00:25:04
			they should compensate us for the favor that

00:25:04 --> 00:25:05
			we have done them.

00:25:07 --> 00:25:09
			And sometimes what, we make a mistake, and

00:25:09 --> 00:25:11
			that mistake is that when when people are

00:25:11 --> 00:25:12
			thanking us,

00:25:12 --> 00:25:15
			we say things like, just pray for me.

00:25:15 --> 00:25:17
			Just make dua for me. Has anyone done

00:25:17 --> 00:25:18
			that over here?

00:25:19 --> 00:25:22
			Yeah? Like, for example, you know, your neighbor,

00:25:22 --> 00:25:23
			your friend, your coworker,

00:25:23 --> 00:25:25
			family member, anybody.

00:25:25 --> 00:25:27
			Right? They come and they're trying to thank

00:25:27 --> 00:25:29
			you and you're like, just make dua for

00:25:29 --> 00:25:29
			me.

00:25:31 --> 00:25:33
			Okay. 1 of the scholars said that

00:25:42 --> 00:25:43
			that whoever

00:25:44 --> 00:25:45
			demands from the poor

00:25:46 --> 00:25:48
			that they should pray for him in return,

00:25:49 --> 00:25:51
			or that they should praise him,

00:25:51 --> 00:25:52
			they should thank him somehow,

00:25:53 --> 00:25:55
			then this person is not included in the

00:25:55 --> 00:25:55
			ayah.

00:25:56 --> 00:25:59
			If you ask someone, just pray for me,

00:26:00 --> 00:26:02
			then then what are you doing? You're demanding

00:26:02 --> 00:26:03
			some kind of reciprocation,

00:26:04 --> 00:26:06
			some kind of compensation from them.

00:26:06 --> 00:26:08
			That I did you a favor, now you

00:26:08 --> 00:26:09
			do a favor for me.

00:26:10 --> 00:26:10
			No.

00:26:11 --> 00:26:13
			When you do a favor to someone for

00:26:13 --> 00:26:14
			the sake of Allah,

00:26:15 --> 00:26:18
			then you expect your reward from Allah and

00:26:18 --> 00:26:19
			Allah alone.

00:26:19 --> 00:26:21
			They say in their hearts,

00:26:27 --> 00:26:29
			And this shows us that any deed that

00:26:29 --> 00:26:31
			we do, big or small,

00:26:32 --> 00:26:34
			any kind of deed, we should do it

00:26:34 --> 00:26:35
			only for the sake of Allah.

00:26:37 --> 00:26:38
			And they say,

00:26:41 --> 00:26:44
			Indeed, we fear from our Lord a day

00:26:44 --> 00:26:45
			that is austere

00:26:45 --> 00:26:48
			and distressful, a very difficult day.

00:26:48 --> 00:26:49
			So Allah

00:26:50 --> 00:26:50
			says,

00:26:59 --> 00:27:01
			So Allah will protect them from the evil

00:27:02 --> 00:27:03
			of that day.

00:27:03 --> 00:27:05
			Which day is this? It's the day of

00:27:05 --> 00:27:05
			judgment.

00:27:06 --> 00:27:07
			They were afraid

00:27:08 --> 00:27:11
			of the difficulty, the distress of that day,

00:27:11 --> 00:27:12
			and this is why

00:27:13 --> 00:27:15
			they tried so hard to protect their intentions.

00:27:16 --> 00:27:17
			And they they consistently

00:27:18 --> 00:27:20
			strove to do different kinds of things to

00:27:20 --> 00:27:22
			please Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. So what will

00:27:22 --> 00:27:25
			happen? Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will protect them

00:27:25 --> 00:27:27
			from the difficulty of that day

00:27:28 --> 00:27:29
			and will give them

00:27:33 --> 00:27:34
			radiance,

00:27:34 --> 00:27:36
			brightness on their faces,

00:27:37 --> 00:27:40
			and joy and happiness in their hearts.

00:27:41 --> 00:27:41
			Allah

00:27:42 --> 00:27:44
			will give them happiness in their hearts and

00:27:44 --> 00:27:45
			will make

00:27:46 --> 00:27:47
			them beautiful as well.

00:27:52 --> 00:27:52
			And Allah

00:27:54 --> 00:27:56
			will reward them.

00:27:57 --> 00:27:57
			Why?

00:27:59 --> 00:28:00
			And this is key,

00:28:01 --> 00:28:02
			because they were patient.

00:28:03 --> 00:28:05
			And what is it that Allah will reward

00:28:05 --> 00:28:06
			them with?

00:28:09 --> 00:28:10
			Paradise

00:28:10 --> 00:28:11
			and silk.

00:28:12 --> 00:28:15
			This ayah shows us that Jannah is a

00:28:15 --> 00:28:16
			reward

00:28:16 --> 00:28:17
			for

00:28:18 --> 00:28:19
			for patience.

00:28:20 --> 00:28:22
			And patience is not just in times of

00:28:22 --> 00:28:24
			difficulty that you endure,

00:28:24 --> 00:28:25
			that you don't quit,

00:28:25 --> 00:28:27
			that you bear the hardship,

00:28:27 --> 00:28:29
			that you still stick to the truth.

00:28:30 --> 00:28:32
			Patience has many different forms.

00:28:33 --> 00:28:36
			Patience is required in being dutiful to Allah.

00:28:37 --> 00:28:38
			Patience is required

00:28:38 --> 00:28:41
			in following the commands of Allah.

00:28:41 --> 00:28:44
			Patience is required in praying 5 times a

00:28:44 --> 00:28:44
			day.

00:28:45 --> 00:28:47
			Patience is required in being good to your

00:28:47 --> 00:28:48
			family. Remember,

00:28:50 --> 00:28:52
			Abraar? Who are Abraar? Those who are good

00:28:52 --> 00:28:52
			to their family.

00:28:53 --> 00:28:55
			Right? Their parents and their children. Tell me,

00:28:55 --> 00:28:57
			is not needed over there?

00:28:58 --> 00:28:59
			Is not needed?

00:29:00 --> 00:29:02
			You see, when you're dealing with a stranger,

00:29:02 --> 00:29:03
			no matter how rude they are, no matter

00:29:03 --> 00:29:06
			how annoying they are, you control yourself.

00:29:06 --> 00:29:08
			But when it's your child,

00:29:10 --> 00:29:11
			you think that you can say anything.

00:29:12 --> 00:29:14
			When it's your sibling, you think that you

00:29:14 --> 00:29:16
			can treat them in, you know, however that

00:29:16 --> 00:29:17
			you want.

00:29:18 --> 00:29:19
			But sabr means

00:29:19 --> 00:29:22
			that you control yourself over there and you

00:29:22 --> 00:29:24
			say only what is pleasing to Allah.

00:29:26 --> 00:29:28
			Is required in doing small acts of kindness.

00:29:29 --> 00:29:32
			Is required in fulfilling commitments and promises.

00:29:33 --> 00:29:36
			Is required in feeding other people,

00:29:36 --> 00:29:37
			especially

00:29:38 --> 00:29:40
			when when you have to share what you

00:29:40 --> 00:29:41
			want for yourself.

00:29:42 --> 00:29:43
			Is required

00:29:43 --> 00:29:46
			in continuing to do good without

00:29:46 --> 00:29:49
			receiving any kind of compensation from people.

00:29:50 --> 00:29:51
			And we learn from this ayah that the

00:29:51 --> 00:29:53
			reward for sabr is

00:29:54 --> 00:29:54
			jannah.

00:29:55 --> 00:29:56
			It is paradise.

00:29:57 --> 00:29:57
			May Allah

00:29:58 --> 00:30:00
			grant us all the ability to be patient

00:30:01 --> 00:30:04
			on righteousness, patient on those things which are

00:30:04 --> 00:30:05
			pleasing to him. May Allah

00:30:06 --> 00:30:08
			give us the ability to be patient in

00:30:08 --> 00:30:08
			fulfilling

00:30:09 --> 00:30:11
			our our duty to him,

00:30:11 --> 00:30:14
			in in in in in controlling ourselves

00:30:14 --> 00:30:17
			when we're dealing with our loved ones. And

00:30:17 --> 00:30:17
			may Allah

00:30:18 --> 00:30:21
			make us all of the people of paradise.

00:30:21 --> 00:30:23
			There's a beautiful hadith that I want to

00:30:23 --> 00:30:23
			end with.

00:30:24 --> 00:30:26
			The prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam mentioned that

00:30:26 --> 00:30:28
			there are no people who gather together

00:30:29 --> 00:30:30
			to remember Allah,

00:30:31 --> 00:30:32
			Whose intention,

00:30:33 --> 00:30:34
			whose only intention

00:30:35 --> 00:30:37
			when they gather together to remember Allah

00:30:38 --> 00:30:40
			is to seek the face of Allah,

00:30:40 --> 00:30:42
			to please Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.

00:30:43 --> 00:30:45
			So there's no group people who do this

00:30:45 --> 00:30:46
			except

00:30:47 --> 00:30:48
			that a caller calls out.

00:30:49 --> 00:30:50
			An announcement is made.

00:30:58 --> 00:31:01
			That rise from here while you're all forgiven.

00:31:02 --> 00:31:04
			You gathered here only for the sake of

00:31:04 --> 00:31:05
			Allah, seeking

00:31:06 --> 00:31:08
			his face, for no other reason.

00:31:09 --> 00:31:11
			When you get up from here, all of

00:31:11 --> 00:31:12
			your sins will be forgiven,

00:31:13 --> 00:31:15
			and your sins will have been converted into

00:31:15 --> 00:31:16
			good deeds.

00:31:16 --> 00:31:17
			May Allah

00:31:18 --> 00:31:20
			grant us all sincerity in everything that we

00:31:20 --> 00:31:21
			do, and may Allah

00:31:22 --> 00:31:24
			count us among such people who are forgiven

00:31:24 --> 00:31:25
			when they rise

00:31:29 --> 00:31:29
			from here.
